Do you often travel overseas and prefer to use a local SIM at your destination but don't want to miss any text messages you get on your mobile phone back home?
Do you have to carry both a work phone and a personal phone because you get text messages on both?
EzVu SMS Forwarder uses your phone’s standard messaging app to receive and forward SMS messages to any mobile phone and/or e-mail account. The app also sends a notification message when an MMS is received (but DOES NOT forward the contents of the original MMS).
Forwarded messages are prefixed with the phone number of the sender. If the sender phone number is in your contacts list then their name will be sent as well.
The app has a “standby mode” which allows you to remotely enter the target phone number at a later time.
You can remotely swap between forwarding and standby modes and remotely redirect forwarding to another phone using "single use" passwords.
Forwarding to an e-mail account requires a Gmail, Hotmail or Yahoo! account (used to send the e-mails from the phone) and that the sending phone has access to the internet and is not in "flight mode". Contact me if you would like me to add other e-mail providers.
The app detects low battery state and forwards a warning via SMS.
The app will automatically re-start if the phone is turned off and then turned on.
Small app size and footprint - it is only active when receiving and forwarding messages.
Uses no more battery charge than normal SMS sending. The app is not active except when an SMS or MMS is received and forwarded (notification only for MMS messages)
